week 11 post 1

If I had to send out a newsletter it would be a monthly letter, I find news letters to be very ineffective to begin with. Im sure for some businesses they might work well I just know when I get things like this it automatically goes into the trash. So like I said if I sent one it wold be monthly and this is what would be in it.

- Fashion tips for our clothing line, this would show our clients how to style different pieces with each other.
- New styles being released for that given month.
- There would be a spot in it for customer testimonials.

Anyways this would be my monthly newsletter.

  1. You have great ideas for your content that you wish to put in your newsletter! It allows you to better target your audience and provide them with a better idea of your business.
It would be nice to include a 10% coupon to include in your newsletter, this will allow your audience to have a little more of an incentive to browse your site and want to purchase something.

  2. Hi Jason,

I think newsletters can be beneficial to your audience as long as you're offering something of unique value. If the newsletter is only repurposing the content on your Instagram and Facebook, I agree that they go right in the trash bin. However, I think if you offer exclusive content like coupon codes, style tips, or outfit inspiration photos that your audience can't get anywhere else, it gives your readers unique value in subscribing to the newsletter. So perhaps try sharing fashion tips for the clothing retailer you sell for that are unique for the newsletter.
